CU-CET 2022: The Central University Common Entrance Test (CU – CET) 2022 notification will be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) soon.

Students will be able to take admission in the both Undergraduate/ Integrated (UI) and Postgraduate (PG)  programs offered by central universities across the country through this exam. This year exams shall be held in 13 languages across the country.

CU -CET Exam scores are accepted by DU, JNU, BHU and other many central Universities.

Applications will start from March-April 2022 followed by the admit card issue.

The examination will be held in May June 2022.  Previously, the admission in these Universities was done based on the percentage scored by the candidates in class 12th. The exam will be conducted online for the duration of 2 hours. The maximum marks will be 100, in which 25 marks will be reserved for aptitude and language tests, and 75 marks will be allotted to the respective domain knowledge. Students will get 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Eligibility

The eligibility criterion for the exam for undergraduate courses is 55% marks in class 12th for the general applicants and 45% marks for the reserved applicants. For postgraduate courses, the criterion is 55 % and 50 % in the respective graduate degree course for general students and reserved sudents respectively. For the Ph.D. candidates possessing UGC-NET (JRF), GATE or NBHM scholarship, it is mandatory to register for the exam.

How to apply?

Visit the official website of the exam which is cucet.nta.nic.in
Register for the exams by giving personal details such as Name, Email Id, Phone number, etc.
When the registration is complete, a username and password will be provided to the candidate.
Select the desired University and course and click on ‘save and proceed.
Pay the application fee which is INR 800/- for General/OBC/EWS candidates and INR 350/- for SC/ST applicants.

CUCET 2022 is an initiative by the Education Ministry to make the admission process in centralized institutions more streamlined and systematic. The candidates are advised to keep monitoring the official website for further information.
