IIM Indore has once again completed its placement season for 2014-15 successfully.  The batch had a total of 508 students (including Mumbai campus) and saw 93 PPOs being offered to the batch.

Roles & Recruiters

General Mananagement

Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Industries, Tata Communication, and Cipla were the major recruiters for the profiles of General Management.

Banking & Financial Services

BFSI accounted for 26% of the batch with major recruiters like Axis Bank, American Express, Citi Bank, Deutsche Bank, Edelweiss, Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, ICICI Bank, J P Morgan, and RBS among others.

Marketing

Sales and Marketing roles were offered by majors like Britannia, Dabur, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, L’Oreal, Marico, Pepsico, Pidilite, Samsung and Vodafone accounting for 23% of the batch.

Consulting

Consulting roles were offered by top consulting firms like Boston Consulting Group, Cognizant Business Consulting, Deloitte, E&Y, Infosys, KPMG, McKinsey, SKP and ZS Associates among others, accounting for 24% of the batch.

IT & Services

Leading recruiters included Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Dell, Google, HCL, Hexaware, IBM, Mindtree, TCS and Wipro.

Companies like D.E.Shaw, E&Y, Fidelity, IBM, Lenovo, McKinsey, and ZS Associates among others were first time recruiters in the campus.

Key Highlights

  • 10% of the offers came from E-commerce domain
  • Highest salary (domestic) stood at INR 35 lacs with average salary at INR 14 lacs
  • Highest salary (overseas) stood at INR 44 lacs
