IIM Lucknow has once again reaffirmed its position as one of the best B-schools in India. The largest ever batch comprising 453 students received 463 offers with 144 recruiters visiting the campus.

The number of Pre-Placement offers saw a marked rise in placement 2015 with 93 offers being made to the students based on their performance in summer internship. Placement 2015 saw an increase of 23% in lateral offers over 2014 Placements with 163 Lateral offers from the higher entry placement process.
Roles & Recruiters
Companies like ABG, Accenture Management Consulting, Amazon, Barclays, BCG, Cognizant Business Consulting, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, KPMG, McKinsey, Reliance Industries, Samsung, Snapdeal and Star TVwere among the largest recruiters this season. A total of 43 first time recruiters visited the campus.
Domain wise placement
General Management
General Management domain had recruiters like Aditya Birla Group (ABG), JSPL, Mahindra and Mahindra, Reliance Industries and TAS among others. 7% of the batch was placed in this domain.
Consulting
Accenture Management Consulting, A.T. Kearney, BCG, Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG, McKinsey and PwC were the top recruiters in Consulting domain with almost 21% of the batch placed in this area.
Sales and Marketing
P&G, HUL Kraft-Cadbury, Airtel, Coke, GSK Consumer, HT Media, ITC, Pepsi and Vodafone were the major recruiters with 25% of the batch placed in this domain.
Banking & Financial Services
Avendus Capital, BAML, Barclays, Citibank, CRISIL, Development Bank of Singapore, Edelweiss, Goldman Sachs, HDFC, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Nomura, Standard Chartered and Yes Bank were the top recruiters in BFSI sector. BFSI sector accounted for 22% of the batch.
E-Commerce, IT and Technology
E-commerce, IT, Technology saw the top recruiters like Amazon, Appsdaily, Cognizant, Commonfloor, eBay, Flipkart, Google, HCL, Infosys, Magicbricks, Mindtree, PayTm, Shopclues, Snapdeal, Uber and Wipro.
