The problem here lies in the fact that Rina has already been instructed to prepare a biased report and she is confined to very limited source of information to prepare her report. Before anything else, Rina must make an effort to gather more data such as the sales report of the company, operating margin, net profit of the company. Based on those facts and a comparative analysis with data from previous years can help Rina to arrive at a conclusion on what the proper rating she must assign. Next comes her limited authority in rating legitimately because she has been pre instructed to be biased. Rina must take a stand on this, and try to make her supervisor understand the fact that doing so will impact on the goodwill of Finterest research largely. Customer and other clients if they found out the misguiding reports would definitely not opt for their service anymore. Also it may be risky for investors and others who take an interest in the oil company. thinking on values like retaining customer and goodwill these being longterm and fixed assets of the company, Rina must prepare an authentic report for the client.

As a doctor he is committed to promoting ,maintaining or restoring human health whenever and however possible. Also, because of his past experience it would definitely be difficult for him to carry out his duties since this time his patient is no other than General Alcatras. The best thing he can do is help the General in restoring his health and then hand him over to Anarsian Police. In this way he would be complacent with the fact that he didnot had to violate his oath and also by handing him over to police his duty towards society or for safety of others’ lives was carried out perfectly.

She can include various measures in her “Employee is king” initiative. The first of them includes a thorough study of the market strategy adopted by other companies of the industries. Also a comparative analysis of the salary and hikes of different companies would help in formulising any hike if needed. Secondly, small measures such as awarding certificates for “Best Employees” per month or for smart work in project can motivate the employees greatly. Time to time, asking for employee opinion on various matters and their feedback would definitely make them feel important. Creative initiatives by any employee should always be greatly welcomed and rewarded. There should also be bonuses for contribution in project by employees.
Another step which can go a great way in reducing attrition rate would be helping an employee balance his work life and personal life. Increasing no of leaves or by allowing an employee for work from home can help in this regard.
Also various higher educational policies can be rolled out to encourage the freshers to retain them in the company as well as helping them in fulfilling their dreams.
Sexual harassment case should be investigated thoroughly and proper action must be taken in order to prevent any repeat of the same event.
Apart from the attrition rate, the gender ratio must also be concentrated upon. Recruitment must be carried out with special attention given to balance the gender ratio.January 1, 2015 at 9:49 pm #2309Arpa MitraParticipantWhen it comes to decide whether to play the role of a whistle blower, Rajiv should also think about the immediate consequences of the act that might impact on his career. For e.g we all know about the recent case of Edward Snowden and what he had to face for whistle blowing. To look out for other clients might be a feasible option for him.
January 1, 2015 at 10:13 am #2283Arpa MitraParticipantTaking the current situation into account, he must first try to convince his manager and aware him of the Business ethics being violated. At the same time, as Adarsh Kumar rightly said he should also look out for other clients as well. As this is the first job for the lad, loosing it would be difficult for him but nevertheless the lessons he learnt would remain be invaluable to him. If the situation offers him with no choice, he must go ahead to follow his manager’s instructions. Also he should look out for other career opportunities for him and eventually when he gets one he must play the role of a whistle blower at the right time. This would not only help him earn his respect and boost his confidence , also he would no more be in ethical dilemma or any guilt concern for having carried out any unethical task in business.
