December 28, 2014 at 4:51 pm #2143Arpa MitraParticipantHi,
Can somebody here clear this doubt? How many people are called for nmims mumbai for cdpi? and out of that how many finally converts? What is this waitlist thing and merit number? I want to be clear about the process and when does one needs to submit SOP in NMIMS.December 28, 2014 at 5:05 pm #2145Kumar MayankParticipantHi Aman,
You have a very good score.
And your acads and extra curriculars are brilliant as well.
Speaking of getting a call : You will definitely get as the cutoffs for Mumbai are somewhat around 208-210.
Just focus on your gd pi preparation.
You have a great chance.
Atb 🙂December 28, 2014 at 5:28 pm #2148AbhirupKeymaster@Sahil-puri : you may face issue as far as VA cutoff is concern. Its a bit on lower side. However you are certain to get call from Bangalore and Hyd campus. Profile looks good. Best of luck buddy ! :good:
December 28, 2014 at 5:36 pm #2149AbhirupKeymaster@yogesh-kadam yup you should expect a call from Mumbai for certain 🙂
In the PI stage, you can expect lot of questions on your experience and bringing back black money to India owing to your experience, besides the usual questions.
All the best ! :good:
December 28, 2014 at 5:39 pm #2150AbhirupKeymaster@dheeraj-arora Excellent acads ! Focus on analysing brands and one sector. Also pick up a better hobby in the next one month. You stand a great chance of converting if you do well in GD/PI
Best wishes !! :good:
December 28, 2014 at 6:15 pm #2152pramit agrawalParticipantHi ,
My Nmat Score
Overall 216 (QA-78 LR-76 LS-62)
Xth 82.67
XII 84.0
Btech 90.12
Work ex 40 months(TCS)Please tell what are the chances of conversion with this profile…??
December 28, 2014 at 6:36 pm #2155AbhirupKeymaster@arpa-mitra : it earlier used to be in the ratio of 1:6 , meaning for every seat , 6 candidates used to be called for CD/PI.
Merit lists are those who convert directly after CD/PI results and Waitlists are the ones put on hold. When merit list candidates do not join, the waitlist candidates get the chance to join.
Regarding SOP, Avishek /Mayank will respond .
