Melange is the annual management-cultural festival organized by the students of the K.J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR). Melange provides a platform for all the specializations/verticals in management to collaborate and bring together a great mix of events. The participants not only experience the management events but also the fun part of Melange as we have a combination of informal, cultural and management events.

Content Research Presentation by the Satyamev Jayate team:
A television talk show that shook the very foundation of the orthodoxy, blind superstition and resultant corruption and social malpractice existing as the very base of many rituals practised in the remotest corners of the country. Come and watch the team behind the concept of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ speak about the inspirations behind their research and the untiring efforts that went into making the show such a hit in India.
Fashion Show:
Come and cheer your classmates and friends taking part in the show. Watch the participants in a different avatar as they set the stage on fire.
War of the Bands:
Unleash the star in you and the whole world is here to cheer you to reach the summit. All you need to do is form a band of 3 to 10 people and rock the stage in front of almost a thousand people roaring you on.
Burn the Dance Floor:
If you’ve got some cool moves, now is the time to show the world. The stage will never get bigger and you may never get another opportunity to display your talent. Form a group of 3 to max 8 people and dance your way to glory.
And this is not all. We’ll also have the Indian Ocean, pioneers of the fusion rock genre in India, performing live on 13th Feb. An evening of absolute musical overdose awaits you. Bring all your friends to this event that promises to be remembered for many years to come.
Apart from the cultural events, there are also an array of management events with lots of cash prizes to be won and laurels to be achieved.
