Bengaluru, Karnataka: After the huge participation received for Maruti Suzuki MTV Colors of Youth – Season Five, one of India’s leading talent hunts, four zonal finalists out of 19 made it to the national round.
Anupama Nair (Hindustan University, Chennai), Snehdeep SK (SIBM Bengaluru) Samridhi & Nikhil (Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru), Surendar B & A. Narayanan (KCG College of Technology, Chennai) will now be fighting the battle of talent in the final round soon.
Snehdeep SK, who mesmerized the crowd with his singing, will be aiming to win the coveted title this time around after making it to the final stage in the previous edition too. Also up for grabs for the winner is a Maruti Suzuki Swift.
The event, hosted by Symbiosis Institute of Business Management – Bengaluru, was judged by actress Perizaad Zorabian and MTV VJ Nikhil Chinapa.
The stage gleamed with performances by musicians, singers, dancers, and painters who raised the bar with their outstanding deliveries. The audience cheered enthusiastically and the judges laid emphasis on giving it all, pushing the boundaries and enjoying oneself. The director of SIBM Bengaluru, Dr. Rajesh Panda, expressed his happiness to have provided a platform to Colors of Youth for the third year in succession.
When asked about the spirit of Bangalore, Zorabian was full of praises for the enthusiasm of the city. Mentioning the immensely gifted students, she was delighted by the platform the Colors of Youth offered. Nikhil Chinapa lauded the institute’s infrastructural aides, auditorium, and high class acoustics.
Surender and Narayanan showcased a variety of dance forms like crumping, locking, wacking, lyrical hip hop and b-boying while Samridhi and Nikhil too grabbed eyeballs with their synchronized dancing.
