Entrepreneurship Cell, NMIMS, Mumbai presents ‘Ennovate – Pioneers of Change’ !!!!
The startup arena has led to a striking change in the business world as increasing number of professionals are choosing the entrepreneurship path. Through Ennovate, we want to unravel and explore the changing dimensions of entrepreneurship through the minds of these eminent pioneers.
As ECell, we encourage the culture of entrepreneurship (startups) in college and this is a small step towards it. The startup scenario has witnessed emerging businesses building on innovative ideas and strategies, a culture that drives the passion and zeal at our Entrepreneurship cell. We are proud to host Ennovate, where we appreciate, inculcate and encourage the entrepreneurial culture in our institute’s young blood. We believe, the speaker’s contribution in the current scheme is unparalleled in start-up world and they would be delighted to share with us their experiences and perspective as part of this event. We have following speakers for the event:
- Amit Dalmia, Executive Director, Blackstone: Executive director in private equity group at Blackstone. Provides strategic direction and leadership to the portfolio companies and responsible for enhancing the value of companies. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Dalmia had diverse operational experience with Hindustan Unilever India in various management and business leadership roles.
- Advitiya Sharma, Co-Founder, Housing.com: Started as a broker for IIT friends and intelligently shifted business model from broking to classifieds. With his clear vision and purpose of helping millions of people, he along with other founders has made housing.com a 1500 crore company that it is today.
- Ameera Shah, Founder, Metropolis Healthcare: She has evolved Metropolis from its single pathology laboratory status to a fully integrated multinational chain of 125 diagnostic centers and 800 collection centers across the globe.
- Vidmay Naini, Director & Business Head, eBay : Heads the critical functions of Business Operations, PaisaPay and PowerShip of the company. Prior to this, Mr Vidmay was the head of Technology Categories, Retention Marketing and Global EasyBuy at ebay India.
- Ketan Mehta, Associate VP, Infibeam: Key role in guiding e-commerce solutions across retail, fashion, theme and entertainment parks, airports, telecom among the others. Prior to joining Infibeam, he was the national head with Yuva Unstoppable.
