Three New Schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Smart Cities Mission, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), Housing for All (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) were launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These schemes will aim to act as new engines for the development of Indian cities and towns which in total will cost around Rs. 4 Lakh Crores.

First One-Stop Crisis Centre for Women in distress in Chhattisgarh
Women and Child Development Ministry, India initiative to launch one stop crisis centre for women is inaugurated in Chhattisgarh this June. This is the first one out of 660 proposed and under the Nirbhya Fund. In this centre services like medical help, counselling, police assistance, legal matters etc. will be taken care.

National Dairy Plan-I
Under National Diary Plan-I (NDP-I), The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) have agreed to include Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand (due to animal population and tribal inhabitants) in the plan and also extended the implementation period to achieve outputs up to 2018-19.
