I completely agree with Prajesh. The death of General Alcatras may not prove positive instead it might strengthen the cause of the war and provide a new reason to the supporters of TNM.
Rehan  considered General Alcatras his childhood hero though he is a native Arnasian, so same would also be the case for many native Tungans. They would treat the death of the General as a disaster and hence become more determined to fight. This will turn the whole concept of “war coming to end as a result of General’s death!” upside down.

Hence in my opinion Rehan should not refrain from helping the General in the best way possible. He should not let personal grievances come in the middle of his duties as a doctor.

Being so close to death himself, the General may realize that the war is of no good to anyone and the conditions may improve thereafter. The war may come to an end and negotiations be made in a parliamentary manner without any involvement of violence.
