Modi government has announced the replacement of the 64- year Planning Commission with the National Institute for Transforming India, which would be based on a bottom up approach of development rather than a centralized approach where development of states were governed by the center. This looks to be a very positive approach because it will provide technical and strategic advice for formulating plans at village level and then aggregate them at higher level. the new body gives room to states to tailor schemes to suit their unique needs rather than to be dictated by center. This is done keeping in mind the diversity in different states of our country.
But just changin gthe structure is not enough. The responsibility of monitoring and evaluating the implementation of programmes is equally important. The monitoring functions of the erstwhile planning commission that have been retained in NITI Ayog, the success depends on the its effective and proper monitoring of use of funds by states.

Looking at the past trends of given data, this could be said that the attrition rate has increased and also the ratio of male and female employees has also increased in the year 2014.
For the Employee is king initiative, what is most important is to find out the root cause of these trends.
To find out the root cause, an employee survey could be conducted which will include feedbacks from all employees regarding their views on salary, boneses, performance appraisal, work environment or any other issues faced by them at workplace.
If salary and bonuses is an issue then the company must ensure that proper salary hikes and timely bonuses are provided to the employees.
The second thing is to investigate the allegations of sexual harrasment made by an employee on Mr. K. Ramesh. If Mr. K.Ramesh is found guilty, then strict action should be taken against him to give a strong message to its employees that ElixirMicrobes is always committed to safeguard the rights and interests of its employees and provide a healthy work environment especially to its female employees. A sexual harassment Redressal committee should also be formed where employees can complaint about any case of sexual harassment that they come across in their workplace. Complete anonymity of the complainant should also be maintained. Thus, the company can win back the trust of their employees who think that it doesn’t takes care of the rights of employees at workplace.

India is the largest democracy which means rule of the people. As being part of it we get to choose who will rule the country in a free and fair way. Democracy allows protection of the rights of its citizens and apply laws procedures equally to all its citizens. But are we truly democratic? Are the people truly hold the power?
Suppose if the elected ruling party doesn’t discharge its duties properly, breaks the promise (which they always does), we cannot get rid of it until the next election.
The real power lies in the hands of powerful and rich industrialists, police chiefs, politicians and military forces officials.
So when it is said that we live under the rule of people.. it must be questioned which people? certainly not the majority of us, but a handful of rich and powerful persons that drive our society and the economy.
Recently, forced conversion was in news. These kinds of incidents are blot in the name of a democratic country like India.
Also we do not have any control over government funds. Government money is our money. We pay taxes. All this money belongs to us. And we have absolutely no control over it?
So, we have no control over government employees, government funds, government policies. Is this democracy? Just vote once in five years and then plead before the same people who you voted to power? Or plead before the officials who take salary out of your taxes?
But that doesn’t means we have no democratic rights. We have rights of free expression, we can hold demonstration whenever we are against something. We can practise any religion we want, take up any occupation, etc. We also have RTI which is a good step towards strengthening the democratic rights of the people. It has given pwer to people to “just question” the govenment. Now it’s time to move one step fowrward and demand direct participation in decision which directly affects the life of people.

E-Commerce bubble is not going to burst because there is a lot of untapped potential in the market that will only increase the opportunities for the E-Commerce sector. And as pointed out by my friends above, in today’s fast moving world, more and more people are relying on the online shopping due to factors like convenience, ease, huge variety under the same umbrella. Also with the Modi government launching the Digital India initiative, It is likely that the e-commerce market can target the rural market, which accounts for 70 percent of India’s population! So the e-commerce bubble is not likely to burst, atleast not in the next 10-12 years.

By the time, company proves its products’ standard, what the middle manager can do to prevent attrition:
    1. Assure the employees that whoever have been working for the company continuously for the last 1 year will be given permanent status, thus assuring them of their job security.

    2. To win back the trust of the employees, introduce new policies in favour of employees like attractive perks and bonuses.

    3. Introduce rewards (in form of salary raises) and appreciation for good performing employees to improve their morale.

    4. Provide better amenities for employees at workplace.

    5. Provide benefits like health insurance to show the employees that the company cares for them.
