Yes I too feel that the obligations to the customers are to developers’ benefits only.
As the businesses in general thrive to be profitable , irrespective of the they being traditional or no , they must have to maintain healthy relations with their customers.
Only probability about their not being committed would arise because of the free platform given to their publications. One would bother more if one has spent significant amount else he might be reluctant to post publication services.
