Our aim is to launch the new valentine’s day special strawberry flavoured chocolate.

Milk choc is a local chocolate company which sells chocolates to around 10 cities in U.P, on an average population of each city is around 5 lacs, and around 30% of population lies between 15-35 years- she is targeting this age group as in India only this particular age group expresses their love and purchases her chocolates.Price of each chocolate bar is 20Rs, so she is hoping to sell her chocolate to around 15 lacs people and hope to generate the revenue of around 3 crores, manufacturing cost to make one chocolate is around Rs. 10 which includes packaging and distribution, her net profit would be around 1.5 crores.So her upper limit for advertising and marketing cost is Rs 40 lacs.

First thing that attracts a customer is the packaging of a product which should clearly describe what it is selling and why it it is selling this product. So cute short love shayaris and poems on the cover will do some magic.

Online engagement campaigns on social media like fb, twitter, instagram and snapchat should be designed targeting the required age group in those 10 cities.Snapchat stories suggesting to treat your loved ones with something sweet and extensively advertising on other social media platform espically focusing on all special days of valentines week.online campaign would not cost much.

Newspaper ads- witty headlines and a little description about the product would be sufficient but as the valentines day approach it should also become full fledged front page ad on the leading newspapers of those 10 cities. This should not cost more than 10lacs.

Radio- Leading radio channels should be used and timings and those ads should broadcasted around 8-10 am in the mornings and 5-8 pm in the evenings, as these r the timimgs when a working class professional travels and they listen to radio while travelling. Content of those ads should be funny and should have day specific catch phrases. This should not cost more than 5 lacs.

Television- Hiring local models to do an ad may go out of budget…so animated ads could be used instead.This should also be day specific covering each day of a valentines week. 80% of the rest of the budget could be used for this.

Banners and posters near malls and prime city locations can be put up from rest of thr budget.

If sales of the product is exceeding all expectations then lucky customer awards could also be given.

My role is hire the best candidate suitable for the post of Project Manager and Functional Consultant.

For the post of Project Manager I am looking for someone who -1.Headed a project before

2. Should have minimum 4 years of experience.

3. Should have technical expertise as well good communication skills.

4. Should have a valid reason to leave his/her previous job.

5.Should be vibrant,young and know how to take a project to completion with all finacial constraints.

6. Should be within our budget that is 30 lacs

Sakshi sinha is young but she has only 2 years experience and has no technical expertise, so she is not suitable for this job.

Sadaf Zia has only 20 months experience and although he is a techinal expert, he does not have leaded a project before and has no experience of team management.

Raj Singh although a good project manager has already left 12 jobs and he is just 33 years old. This reflects that he is not stable in his job and investing in him is risky and our company is going through finanacial problems so every decision should be well thought

Vinod Rai is a young fresher and he is not ready to handle a team.

Peter parker is 43 years old and he has a lot of experience so for him to adjust in a startup environment will be difficult.

Prerna Rai has six years experience, she has worked for the same company all those years. She has technical as well as fcunctional expertise and has learnt quite a lot about working in a team before. So she is the suitable candidate for the job of project manager. Her CTC is 16 lacs amd therefore, she is well within our budget as well.

For the post of functional consultant.A candidate should have technical as well fuctional expertise. Should have atleast one year of experience and has given good results as a functional consultant in his previous job.

Sadaf zia is an excellent programmer and has 20 months of experience. He is young and sharp enough to learn and adjust in a startup environment so he should be chosen for the post of functional consultant.

Vinod rai is young fresher and excellent coder, he can learn faster and code well, as a coder is also required to make a project. He should also be hired.

The case is about an ethical dilemma. A doctor is supposed to treat every patient that comes his way, this is his ethical duty and serving people and saving lives is duty of this noble profession. But he has lost his family because of general albatross and morever there is a war going on and he is given an opportunity to stop this war.

So as a doctor he should save his life or atleast try to save his life. And if he is survives, he should report him to his community leaders, he should also try to explain and convince albatross to stop this war and convince his community members to try to find a solution peacefully, as he saved his life and albatross should not waste it on a fruitless war.

To achieve the first goal. We need to make a detailed plan of what we proposed to make including all details about our goals, what we propose to develop- whether it is an app based platform or a web platform or both, who are we targeting- their demographic, geographical location and identify other constraints.It should also indclude the proposed budget of the social network and duration it will take to complete it. The plan should also include its Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat analysis. Then this detailed plan should be presented to all the potential angel investors.

To market this product extensive media advertising , use of online advertising services like Google Adwords for search, dosplay and video advertising could be used, referral benefits could also be provided. Use of email advertising to the smarts band users could also be used to promote the new product.

As the marketing team is new, the resources that are needed should be identified and proper training to the marketing team to make them equip with latest technologies should be provided.

Hi, In India male is to female ratio is less as compared to that of Australia and on top of that number of women in premier business and technical institutes in India is not very satisfactory.So, it is fair to say that there are less number of qualified women as compared to men. Holding a senior cotporate position in any company should be based on merit and tying executive’s salary to it would only affect the integrity of the hiring process. Represention of women should be increased for that and first  step should be to ensure that more women study from leading institues and their education is at par with their male counterparts. Government has taken quite a few steps to ensure that and this change will come gradually but putting a spearhead on ceo will not provide the desired results.
