IIMnetWORK conducted Pan IIM Alumni Meet 2015 on July 19, 2015 at Vivanta by Taj, Bangalore. It was indeed a great platform for most forward thinking IIM innovators and executors to meet, interact, share ideas and discuss about their execution as well. The sessions had everything what an IIM Grad will look for -keynote sessions by industry stalwarts , panel discussions by budding entrepreneurs and invoking Food for Thought Series along with indulgence in nostalgia music.
The first Keynote Session was on topic- Redefining Client Agency Relationship – Role of Chief Outsiders in Marketing world by Mr. Ashok Lalla, Digital & Marketing Advisor. He very well brought forward the interesting concept of COO- Chief Outside Officer who can provide valuable insights for any organisation with his lateral and different take on things.
This was followed by a Panel discussion on Innovative ideas to execution- Business ideas off the radar with panellists Mr. Manoj Agarwal, Co- founder Giftxoxo.com, Mr. Mukund BS, Founder and Director, Eco Raksha , Mr. Vishal Dutta, Founder , Drumup & Godotmedia. Mr. Rakesh Kumar , Founder, ‘marketEnomics Digital Services’ and IIMnet was moderating the discussion which brought forward never thought before ideas executed to perfection.
The second Keynote Session was on topic- Future of CRM and Personalized marketing by Mr. Ajay Row , Litmus who is a serial entrepreneur. The session threw light on importance of understanding the consumer behaviour in this technologically advanced world and how to do personalized marketing targeting them.
The third Keynote Session was on topic- Technology changing the future of Marketing by Mr. Aditya B., CEO & Founder, eMart Solutions . Mr. Aditya B took the attendees through the story of marketing, how it evolved and what future changes can be brought because of technological intervention.
This was followed by a Panel discussion on How to reach your target audience in absence of VC Funding with panellists Mr. Abhijeet Bhandari, Co- founder GREX, Mr. Rajesh Kumar B, Founder, Focus Academy, Mr. Vivek Agarwal, Co-Founder , SquareYards and Mr. Sachin Bansal , Founder at QuantumGraph. Mr. Rakesh Kumar , Founder, ‘marketEnomics Digital Services’ and IIMnet was moderating the discussion which shared insights on how the budding start-ups can spread their reach.
Ms. Madhurima, Partner- Castling Consulting, Mentor at T-Labs and Ex- Director, CommonFloor.com gave the attendees Food for Thought by taking them through a session on Mom-Entrepreneurs – Challenges and Learnings. She shared her personal life experiences, the challenges she faced and how she dealt with them.
Mr. Rahul Sharma (Alumnus, IIM-C) took the attendees to altogether a different melodious era of 1970s- 1980s through his lovely music. He is the Lead Singer for the Band Goonjjj and has been fame of National level competitions like Fame-X and Raw Star, etc.
Mr. ARKS Srinivas, CEO, Vistamind & Director, Vanguard Business School brought a very interesting perspective on Entrepreneurship in Education & Training. He shared his own industry experience , his knowledge of present landscape of education sector and future of the sector considering the rapid changes in preferences of students.
This was followed by a Panel discussion on Marketing Innovations in selling Tech-based products/services with panellists Mr. Manoj Kumar, Vice President, HSBC, Mr. Tanuj Mendiratta, Founder & CEO , Appiterate, Ms. Puja Mathur, Director, Oracle. Mr. Kamal Das , Vice President , Jigsaw Academy was moderating the discussion which shared insights on transformation in marketing of tech based products/ services.
Mr. Ganesh Prasad, Partner at Khaitan & Co. covered interesting facts related to Legal Challenges to set up businesses & to get foreign investments.
This was followed by a Panel discussion on Corporate Journey Vs Entrepreneurship – A fair perspective with panellists Ms. Madhurima Agarwal, Mentor at T-Labs and Ex-Director at CommonFloor.com , Ms. Devaki Sahasrabudhe, Vice President- Marketing Engagement, GREX & Ms. Neelima Thakur, Senior Manager BHEL . Ms. Geetha Madhuri , IIM C passout was moderating the discussion which shared insights on how the budding start-ups can spread their reach.
The Meet ended on a musical note with some wonderful music from Mr. Rahul Sharma –Nostalgia – Music-Indulgence.
