IIM Raipur has achieved 100% placements for the fourth consecutive year in record time for its flagship Post Graduate in management (PGP) program. Companies from a variety of sectors showed interest in recruiting from IIM Raipur, owing to the diversity of academic backgrounds and work experience of the students in the 4th batch of its flagship Post Graduate Program in Management. The placement process of IIM Raipur was completed in the month of February itself. The institute decided to finally release the official placement report today, following a rigorous process of internally validating the placement data.
A total of 120 companies expressed interest in the final placement process this year. The batch consisted of 119 future leaders who have proved their mettle at every opportunity presented to them. The highest domestic package drawn is Rs 21.76 LPA and the average salary offered is Rs 11.14 lakh per annum. Top 50 percentile of the batch was placed with a median salary of 13 LPA. The highest international salary offered is Rs 32.55 LPA with 7 international offers.
Roles & Recruiters
Top recruiters include Accenture, Bharat Forge, Cognizant, Deloitte, SBI and Wipro who hired students in large numbers. The institute continues to maintain a symbiotic relation with its past recruiters, which include Bharat Forge, BPCL, Future Supply Chain, HT Media, ICICI Bank, Infosys BPO, JSPL, Kadence International, KPMG, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Tata Power, Tata Steel, Vedanta Plc., etc.
The major highlight of the placement season 2014-15 was the overwhelming response received from some of the first time recruiters at the institute. These include Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, DS Group, E&Y, Future Group, HDFC bank, ICICI Prudential, Idea Cellular, L&T, L&T Finance, Motilal Oswal, SBI, Times Group, Virtusa, Wipro, Zamil Steel etc. to name a few.
