Please tell me about business Analytics. Actually, IIM C, ISI and IIT Kharagpur have jointly started this course. For whom is this course recommended?
Ideally two things should be kept in mind. Undertaking a highly specialised course like this will limit future career options. This course is recommended for those who are interested in a long term career in IT or in research related career.
Analytics is definitely booming at the moment, but my fear is it will get overcrowded in a decade or so similar to the state with SAP guys. So long term future is bleak.
One can consider doing this as a second MBA later.
