I’m likely to join a B school this year. I would like your guidance on what I can do from now to land in the internship of my preference, given that I have about 6 months time from now. Here are my doubts: Three months into B school life, what will be expected out of me during those interviews? Since narrowing down to a specialisation is usually done during the 2nd year, how do I choose from the offered profiles? How can I work on myself and on the resume to enhance the possibilities of landing in my preferred internship? Thanks in advance. Best, Gautham
1. Try completing few certifications in this time
2. Be clear on what you want to do post MBA and plan your career and internship roles accordingly.
3 months is a short time, so make sure you are aware of all current affairs and get ur fundamental concepts right.
Thanks, Abhirup. If I can be more specific, I’m interested in a product management role in a dynamic field like Ecommerce. It will be great if you can shed some light on how I can land the internship for that role.
My suggestion is you can do certifications related to SCM and project management in the mean time. Something like CAPM and Six Sigma will help .
