Preliminary Requirement:

IIM Bangalore uses only CAT-2014 scores as a criterion to shortlist the candidates for further selection processes and minimum percentile scores required are as follows:

Academic and Professional Requirement:

From the candidates shortlisted using CAT scores, final short list for WAT/PI process will be selected by considering their 10th, 12th and Bachelors percentages and work experience.
10th, 12th and Bachelors scores of each candidate will be normalized by dividing each candidates score with the 90th percentile score in their respective board.
Pre PI Score for work experience is calculated as:
Pre PI Work Experience Score= (5*X)/36 if 0<X=36
Where X is work experience in number of months till September 2014

Weight age for different factors is as follows:

The weighted total of the above five components will be considered for preparing the final shortlist.
Top 10 candidates in each sectional and total score in CAT, 10th, 12th, Bachelors and Professional, will automatically qualify for the WAT/PI Process.

Total number of Candidates Selected for the PGDM 2014-16 batch:

6 are overseas applicants with least GMAT score accepted being 730.
