IIM Trichy has announced the successful completion of the Summer Placement process for the academic year 2020-21 (Batch of 2020-22) of the Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management and Post Graduate Program in HR (PGP HR). Since its inception, IIM Trichy has become a preferred destination for the recruiters across industries owing to its diverse educational and work experience background & locational advantage.

The campus saw participation from regular recruiters such as Avalon Consulting, Deloitte, Godrej, Saint Gobain, BPCL, TAFE, Yes Bank, NatWest, JP Morgan Chase, Ultratech, Microsoft and participation from new recruiters such as McKinsey & Co, BNY Mellon, Adobe, Apollo Tyres, Mphasis, TVS Group and Murugappa Group offering coveted profiles across various domains.

A total of 95 companies participated in the placement process offering 210 roles across various domains of Sales & Marketing, Finance, General Management, Strategy, Consulting, Operations, and 29 roles in HR. The average stipend recorded at ₹85,377 with ₹2,50,000 as the highest domestic stipend for PGPM and the respective figures for PGP HR are ₹45,379 and ₹100000 respectively.

The top 10 percentile of the PGP students secured an average stipend of ₹2,19,047 while the top 20 percentile secured an average of ₹1,77,337 and the respective figures for PGP HR stand at ₹86,667 and ₹71667 respectively.
