IIM Calcutta has reported 100% placements for its 55th batch for the class of 2018-20. The process saw participation of 150 recruiters raising 498 offers for the batch of 444 students, providing students opportunity for dream offers. The class was placed across various sectors including Consulting (30%), Sales and Marketing (17%), Finance (15%), General Management & Operations (19%) and Product Management & IT Analytics (19%). The numbers are a testimony to the trust and expectations of the recruiters from IIM Calcutta of its great legacy and academic excellence year after year.
In a constant endeavour to provide better opportunities to the students and to the recruiters, IIM Calcutta introduced ‘Dream’ and ‘Wait & Hold’ policy for the batch. Students had the opportunity to hold their offers and apply for other firms in the slot.
