I was lucky enough to clear in the first attempt. The element of surprise for me was that, in CAT-2013 even if you have given a blank paper you would have got 55%ile i.e more than half the people have got -ve Grand Total. Tips to handle new format use the time equally to both verbal and Quantitative as there will be sectional cut-off. Overall analysis CAT can be cracked if you know how to manage your time and know how to solve problems logically based on given data. But clearing WAT & PI requires more knowledge about day to day happenings and how clear the person is about doing MBA.
